So, I just saw this amazing poster over at Geekologie. Artist John Conway has made a poster that lays out several factors to consider before adopting a pet dinosaur. He includes their relative size, exercise requirements, diet, and the chances you will be eaten, crushed, or gorged by them. Which dino would you get as a pet?

The Walking Dead in New York

In a stunt to promote the upcoming return of the AMC series The Walking Dead, New York City got a little bit of a scare. The show put some Walkers under the sidewalk grates at Union Square and then had them reach out and grab for random people. I would jump out of my skin. Literally. I would leave my skin behind in an attempt to escape.
